Worthington Reading List (FOR KIDS): A Book Written By A Celebrity

I love when I can coordinate what I'm reading with what I'm reading to my daughter.
There are many categories on this year's Worthington Reading List that can do just that!

For example, this category A Book Written By A Celebrity!

I'm Gonna Like Me by Jamie Lee Curtis

Jamie Lee Curtis has written many children's books (like this one, this one, and this one... to name a few)...but I'm Gonna Like Me is my absolute favorite! I'm all about picture books that help teach our kiddos skills for self-esteem... and I need to read them myself sometimes!

Happy by Pharrell Williams

This one follows the song we all know and love (and had stuck in our heads far too many times). I ADORE the cover, and love the photography in the book as well. I also like that it's a great song we can sing with our children and then read them the book!

Dada by Jimmy Fallon

This one is just plain silly! There aren't really any words in this book other than animal noises, but I think it's one my toddler is going to fall in love with one day and ask to read it over and over again!

I'm Bored by Michael Ian Black

I actually haven't read this one yet, but it gets awesome reviews on Amazon so it's on my list! It looks really cute and like another that will be read over and over!

Freckleface Strawberry by Julianne Moore

I haven't read this one yet either, but it's one I've been dying to try! I love Julianne Moore and I love that this book is based on herself as a child.

  1. BJ Novak's The Book with No Pictures is always a hit. I just read it to a 3rd grade class this week and they begged for me to read it again.
