I'm all for finding products that have less chemicals. So many of the things we eat, use, and surround ourselves with on a regular basis have chemicals... it comes with the territory of having to produce so many different things for BILLIONS of people on the same size of earth, I guess... so whenever I find something that can take the place of some of those chemical-ized products, I get SO excited! Especially since we've been struggling with Baby Girl's eczema we have been trying all sorts of different natural products to find those that are healthier for her skin without the irritation. These are my favorite natural products for Home, Mom, & Baby.

1) Honest Multipurpose Cleaner

I love love love Honest. Let's just start by saying how ON POINT their branding is! I feel like many natural products have packaging that looks like it's from the 70's... and that makes it REALLY hard for me to get on board and pick their product up off the shelf at my local health food store... no matter how good a product it is.

But with Honest, I don't have that problem. Their packaging is gorgeous.



But beyond the superficial side of it, I ADORE their multipurpose cleaner. It smells amazing. I first bought it when I was pregnant and cleaning my bathroom with bleachy smelling products made me queezy. This white grapefruit sent is so yummy. It gives your whole room a delicious fresh sent, and leaves your counters shiny and clean! win win!

It's World Penguin Day! Did you know that's a thing?? Well here at my house we LOVE penguins (they are my husband's favorite animal). So in honor of Word Penguin Day I thought I would share my own little penguin, and the product that has helped baby sleep so much better- The Zipadee-Zip!

I received this product in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are my own. And I would have written a post about it anyways because I love it so much!

If you follow via instagram, you likely know what we are struggling with eczema right now with my little girl. It's awful. A few months ago we stopped trying to swaddle Mini since she kept breaking free and was starting to roll. We would apply creams all day on her face to get the redness down, but by the next morning it was back even worse because she had itched the eczema on her cheeks all night! Despite putting socks on her hands (and back on her hands throughout the night as they fell off) it was a daily battle.

Then I remembered seeing Zipadee-Zip on Shark Tank and quickly visited their website! It seemed like the perfect solution! Baby would have her hands enclosed, and unable to get them out! So we tried it... and we love it! We're never going back!

This week I had the opportunity to do an interview with The Pampered Teacher. I was beyond flattered when Cristin reached out to me and asked to interview me!

You may remember that I graduated with a degree in Elementary Education with a minor in Teaching English Language Learners. I love teaching! But, when I graduated from college at 5 months pregnant, and decided to stay home with my little girl, I didn't get to spend much time in the classroom. However, once a teacher always a teacher. I can't wait to get back in the schools!

What's your superpower in the classroom?

"Read-a-loud all the way! Those 20 min of the day were my saving grace most of the time! Exploring great children’s literature with my students, seeing their faces as you stop at a cliffhanger, and them begging for read-aloud so they can hear more of the book are some of the biggest highlights of my teaching career. Obviously I love books (see my blog), but more than that I love sharing the books I love with others and seeing them love them too (especially children)!"

The day is here! Time to get to know another of my favorite shops for the mini people!

Little Baby J Designs is a brand new shop of the cutest "onesies" ever! I got the navy "Never Grow Up" in size 3-6 months for my little 12 pound cutie. It fits her so cute, is 100% cotton, and we've washed it like 5 (?) times since getting it a week ago and it still looks super cute!

Ok cool people! I'm here to share with you one of THE coolest shops around!

Small Town Apparel makes the most adorable baby moccasins, I promise you'll love them, and don't forget to enter the giveaway at the bottom of the post! But first a little about the owner for your reading pleasure...

Christina is one of the sweetest shop owners I've ever worked with (not that they all aren't sweet, but really she's amazing). My first contact with her was via an instagram comment. She posted a pic of these cutest buffalo plaid moccasins (drool) and I fell in love with them.

Unfortunately my baby girl has the teeniest feet (did I mention she's still in her newborn size moccasins... at six months!), so I commented saying how much I loved them but that I wished they came in a smaller size. She replied quickly saying, that she could make them in 3 1/2 inches for me (instead of 4) and that she wouldn't even charge me extra! (Did I mention she's amazing!)

When our moccasins arrived, I was giddy. They are made out of leather that is comparable in quality to other brands, and with the added touch of the bow, they are totally swoon worthy!

And we're back! With 10 more library books that I promise you're going to LOVE!

Like I said in the last Library List post, these are books that I 100% recommend. I checked out each of these books from my local library and read them to my own daughter. They have great artwork, enchanting stories, and I bet you and your kids will BOTH be entertained. So, you can be sure you come home with at least SOME good books every library trip!

  • This was a sweet little story about a mouse who lived next to an ancient dragon statue. Together they travel the world and share their joy with others. 
  
  

It never ceases to amaze me what a mom can do... Seriously! Moms wear so many different hats all the time... oftentimes wearing multiple hats at once!

Even know that I am a momma I still can't imagine being able to do everything I see all the moms around me doing (and they make it look so easy!). I'm hoping it will get easier with practice!

All moms AMAZE me... but there are some moms that take this job to a whole new level... you've all seen them, been jealous of them (maybe...), and wanted to be them.

Who am I talking about... the MOMMA ENTREPRENEURS!
