Worthington Reading List: A Book That's Becoming a Movie in 2016

Time for another post about my progress on my Worthington Reading List! I finished the category "A book becoming a movie in 2016" recently and I am so excited to share what I read with you all! I loved the book I read (even though I stopped for 4 months half-way through because I had so many other books to read!)

WHAT I READ:

For this category I read The 5th Wave and it was... SO GOOD! As I was reading it I kind of thought of it as like the Hunger Games but with Aliens on steroids. I honestly got queasy in some parts because the kids in the book are so young! It made me sick to think of my little daughter in 4 years holding an assault riffle taking out "aliens!" It's a big book, but it's worth it! I recommend it! Right after I finished the book I ordered the next one because I HAD to find out what happens next!

Oh and the movie is already out! Has anyone here seen it? What did you think of it?

Other Books:

I swear every year there are more and more movies that come out that are based on books! Here are a few that I'm excited to read/re-read that fit in this category.

Has anyone read this one? It intrigues me, but I'm not sure if I can handle the zombie aspect. What did you think of it?

I'm reading this one with my neighborhood book group this month. I haven't started it yet, but I've heard great things! Oh and the movie has Finnick from Hunger Games in it!

I love the Divergent Series of books, and I loved the movies too! I can't wait to see this next installment released on the big screen this year!

I loved this book as a kid! I need to read it again before I see the movie!

I haven't read this one yet, but I just got it from the library and I'm excited to see how I feel about this book that has gotten a lot of hype! The movie is also coming out this year and stars Emily Blunt (I love her!)

I was SO confused when I was sitting in the theater for Star Wars and saw what looked like a trailer for another Harry Potter movie! I refused to get my hopes up the whole preview ;) I don't know how they turned this tiny book into a movie, but the preview makes it look SO good! I'll definitely be seeing it!

This movie comes out in September... I haven't read the book yet, but I've also been intrigued by this one... has anyone here read it? What did you think?

What's movies based on books are you looking forward to this year?

Thanks for reading!
